ABOUT OUR RUM

Traditional Pot Distilled Rum

Our flagship white rum is robust with notes of pineapple and bruised banana as well as a backbone of cinnamon and mint.  It creates a luscious mouth-feel, slightly cooling and subtly sweet with notes of crisp lemongrass and lime. The finish lends subtle hints of spice, smoke, forest and pine.

Overproof Rum

 An unaged rum bottled at traditional Navy strength, the Overproof offers a big bouquet with wafting notes of dried fig, strawberry jam, violets, and bittersweet chocolate that progresses into lime oil, sea salt, and a cooling mint as it crosses the palette. Viscous and mouth-coating with a pungent yet soothing finish that lingers with floral notes, tobacco smoke, and earth.

Barrel Aged Reserve Rum

The Barrel Aged Reserve utilizes casks ranging from five to fifty-three gallons, which have originally held bourbon, rye, brandy, wheat whiskey, single malt and more.  The rum is placed into casks at the pre-prohibition maximum of 110 proof to extract less bitter oak tannin and to mature with much more complexity.  Each barrel is individually sampled for readiness. 

Amer Herbal Rum Liqueur

This liqueur breaks from traditional rum liqueurs, both in style and alcohol content.  The Amer features complex notes both on the nose and the palate.  A warm, herbaceous, and luscious mouthfeel on the front end transforms into a balance of floral notes and zesty citrus before finishing out with a prickly pepper bite.

At least four years in wood, no additives, only pure water to 100 degrees proof.
A seldom achieved mark of quality and transparency for rum, our Bottled in Bond release is over five years old, the most mature release to-date.

Canequina Aperitif

This aperitif begins with a base of fresh cane juice, fortified in the mistelle method, and aromatized with cinchona, gentian, orange peel, chicory, and other botanicals.

A Louisiana-inspired rendition of the 19th-century French classic quinquina, it is a great substitute for French or Italian wine-based aperitifs.​
